The globe Earth is a central requirement for the theory of Evolution with the ultimate purpose of proposing a means of creation without God.
Here are the stats that go along with belief in a global Earth
per Space.com. 

 

1. According to NASA. the earth's circumference is roughly 24,898 miles. Therefore, to experience "evening and morning", then you are spinning 1,037 miles per hour (24,898/24).
 

2. According to Cornell, to have seasons, the Earth is orbiting around the sun at 66,700 miles per hour or roughly 18.5 miles per second.
 

3.  According to Space.com, the sun that is spinning in the Milky Way Galaxy and you on Earth are hurling through space at 448,000 miles per hour  
 

4.  All are held together by gravity stated as fact when the National Center for Science Education states, "Universal Gravity is a theory, not a fact, regarding the natural law of attraction."

Notice how Space.com and NASA, make these statements as fact though it is scientifically recognized that

And God tells us to "be still" - not moving.

Why Does the Shape of the Earth Matter?

Because we are repeatedly warned to
"Be not deceived."

Genesis 1:5  And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Mark 10:6 - But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

With the detail and time frames of births found in God's word, one can estimate the age of the earth.  Our society is under the spell of evolutionary teachings and most of our churches make no effort to counter the delusion and worse, they accept the lie of evolution. 

​

Here are two biblical truths that reveal the deception of a globe Earth.
 

  1. Per the "Big Bang Theory", the sun is pulling the Earth through an ever-expanding universe while the Earth rotates around the sun to get the seasons which is why they have to say the axis is 23.4 degrees off of north.  The circumference of the earth is 24,901 miles around - East to West - the Earth has never been circumnavigated North to South.  So to get night and day (Genesis 1:5), the earth has to be rotating 1,037.5 miles per hour.  

    Biblically, the Earth was created on day 3 (Genesis 1:10-13) and the Sun was created on day 4 (Genesis 1:14-19).  How can the Earth be chasing the Sun, when the Sun was not even created before the Earth?  It CANNOT!
     

  2. In Joshua 10:12-13 - Joshua commanded the Sun to stand still - Not the Earth!

12 ...he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.

3. Revelation 21: 1-17 - "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth ...2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"

 

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs.  The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
(Note: 12,000 furlongs = 1,500 miles "foursquare with length and breadth and height equal" is a cube.) 

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
(Note: 144 cubits = 216 ft wall height)

Using a curvature of the Earth calculator, If you are on top of a 216-foot tall wall, the other end of the wall is 1,500 miles away, would there be 1,482 miles  hanging out in space???  Model is not to scale but rather for concept. -------->​

  10. Earthquakes shake Earth, and does not move:
    -  2 Samuel 22:8,-"Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.""
    -  Isaiah 13:13- "Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." 
     

  11. Earth is fixed and immovable:
    -  1 Chronicles 16:30-30 "Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.", Psalm 93:1- "the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved." ,
    -  Psalm 96:10,"the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved",

For we are told in Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of El; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." A man who is determined to undermine the scriptural proof of the firmament, undermines the handywork of Yahweh.

The following notes are a response to those who deny that a physical "firmament/dome" structure is being stretched above our heads.
 

  1. Genesis 1:6-8 - With understanding the properties of water, it requires a physically hardened substance to keep it contained. Thus, a dome/firmament is not only logic, but is within the proper context of scripture.
     

  2. Job 26:7 - From the "north" is being "stretched" over what empty place?
     

  3. Job 37:18 - The premise of this verse is a "question" being posed, in order to put "man" in perspective to the Creator. In that teaching moment Yahuah reveals a truth about the "expanse," that it is "strong" just like a "molten looking glass."
     

  4. Isaiah 40:22 - This verse shares the same language Job 26:7. What in the "heavens" is being "stretched out" as a curtain? What in the "heavens" are "spread out that would allow us to live under it as a "tent?"
     

  5. Isaiah 44:24 - Again, what is being "stretched" in the heavens?
     

  6. Isaiah 45:12 - This verse, Isaiah 45:12, is in agreement with Job 26:7 and Job 37:18, as well as, there is no contradiction within the inspired words of Yahuah. Only a fool is willing to declare Yahuah a liar by stating that His hands have NOT stretched out the heavens." Let Yahuah be true and every man a liar." (Romans 3:4)
     

  7. Isaiah 48:13 - What is being "spanned" by Yahuah in the heavens?
     

  8. Ezekiel 1:22-26, Ezekiel 10:1 - The analogies of the "firmament" make no sense without a literal "firmament."
     

  9. Daniel 12:3 - Just as the firmament is described as firm like a molten-looking glass, it has a hardened surface from which a "shine" can occur.
     

  10. Amos 9:6 - Some translations use the word "troop." Have you researched the original Hebrew meaning of that word? "Stong's 92 OT (Hebrew 'aguddahag-ood-daw' feminine passive participle of an unused root (meaning to bind); a band, bundle, knot, or arch:--bunch, burden, troop." Did you see the word "arch" in there? Again, no inconsistency in God's Word.
     

  11. Acts 7:56 - If the "heavens" are only the open expanse/sky, why would it have to be re-opened? What is being "opened?" Perhaps, the firmament?

  12. Revelation 4:6 - See Job 37:18.
     

  13. Revelation 6:14 - What is being "departed as a scroll when it is rolled together?"
     

  14. If anyone is causing a divide/wedge over the true existence of the dome/firmament it is the obstinance of the man's refusal to accept God's Word for His firmament.
     

  15.
